Siena intensive

On an extended walk through Siena, we will get to know the many different aspects of the city.

Exploring places significant in the life of S. Catherine of Siena we make our way to the ancient heart of Siena, called “Castelvecchio”, and the cathedral. After visiting the cathedral, the baptistry and cathedral museum we continue on our leisurely way to Siena's famous square, the Campo, with its beautiful buildings. We also pay a short visit to the Museo Civico. After the Oratory of St. Bernardin, we return to our starting point.

We will of course take time to learn about some of Siena’s other special traits, such as the Contrades, the many beautiful fountains and the wide range of culinary specialties.
